Do I need to replace any filters?

It is recommended that you change the HEPA and Charcoal filter (combined as one filter) every 6 months (depending on use) to maintain an optimal level of air purification in your home.

I tried multiple brands of air cleaner that never worked. Then I finally gave in and bought this model and it has been working well for three years. I bought a second unit which failed while under warrenty and Gaurdian had sent a new unit within one week. Great product and great service! I love that it is compact and quiet. My room mate used to smoke in the house and it never smelled. Everyone was always amazed that this machine the size of a book could clean an entire room.
