Do I need to replace my filter?
Yes. It is recommended that you change the Filter (FILTER B/FLT4825) every six (6) to eight (8) months depending on use.

How long is the warranty?
The warranty is a 3-Year Limited Warranty. For more detailed warranty information please refer to the warranty section of your instruction manual.

What is CADR?
CADR stands for “Clean Air Delivery Rate” which indicates the volume of filtered air delivered by an air purifier. CADR ratings show the effectiveness of how efficient the air purifier is at capturing fine particles from things like tobacco smoke and plant pollens from the room.

How do I know when I should replace the filter?
It is recommended that you replace the Combination Filter every six (6) months – depending on use – to maintain an optimal level of air purification. When the filter turns from white to dark grey or black it should be replaced with a new one. If the filter is still white it does not need to be replaced.

What is UV-C light?
UV-C is part of the ultra-violet light spectrum that is filtered out by the earth’s atmosphere. The “C” stands for the particular frequency of UV light that kills germs. (Insert light spectrum graph here?!)

Why is UV-C light so effective?
UV-C light is highly effective at penetrating thin-walled germs like viruses and bacteria. The light alters the genetic structure of the germ and they die.

For whatever reason this year Tree Pollen hit me hard for the very first time. Beginning in late January and by the first week of Feb I had sinus headaches 4 days in a row. The following Monday this product was purchased from a local Best Buy at 11:30am. It was brought home and turned on Max immediately and out the door to work I went. Arrive back home around 9pm that same day - The difference I noticed when walking in the door was just crazy. Night and Day. First good night of sleep that nite. It's been running on MAX 24/7 since then no problems at all. In fact - just ordered three replacement filters and considering purchasing one more of these units for the bedroom specifically.

Got as a christmas gift, and yes I smoke, within one day we could not smell any smoke odors coming home from work, and within 3 weeks the filter had captured an incredible amount of dust and whatever else. The smoke smell being reduced so much is worth the price. The unit seems well built and 4 months later the UV bulb is still bright.

What's great about it: Everything What's not so great: High speed is kind of loud in the family room.
