I bought my vacuum in 2010 and am very pleased with it. I like that I am able to change it to a canister as needed.

What's great about it: no bags, filters rinse off. What's not so great: whats not so great about it?

Yesterday I vacuumed my kitchen and family room carpet as part of my daily cleaning. After I was finished I noticed that the kitchen floor still had a lot of dirt and crumbs and I was unable to mop until I vacuumed a 2nd time. What I realized was that my Hoover Savvy wasn't doing its job anymore so I decided to take a trip to WalMart to see which vacuums they carried in the store. They had the usual Hoover, Eureka, Dirt Devil, Dyson etc. But I noticed a brand that I wasn't familiar with, Germ Guardian. At first I was hesitant to purchase this brand because I hadn't done any research and wasn't aware of where I could find supplies and parts. But I took a chance and purchased the GGU350TT. When I arrived home I assembled the vacuum cleaner in less than 10 minutes. I then vacuumed the same floor and carpet that I had cleaned in the morning and guess what? The dirt cup picked up more dirt and dust. I couldn't believe it! Needless to say, I am so very pleased with this product. I have vacuumed at least 3 times since yesterday just to handle my new vacuum cleaner and practice converting it from upright to cannister. The price, the performance, the ease of assembly, and the look are all great. Compared to the other brands mentioned above the Germ Guardian is very sturdy and solid. I've already called friends to let them know of my new find. I plan on purchasing a 2nd GGU350TT for the 2nd floor of my home. Can't rave enough, I love my 2-in-1.
