Allergens, germs and odors, beware! The Hi-Performance Air Purifier is an ideal purifier for allergy and asthma sufferers providing cleaner, fresher air to breathe and relief from allergy symptoms. A True HEPA filter relieves allergies by capturing 99.97% of dust and allergens as small as .3 microns in size. According to the American Academy of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology, doctors recommend HEPA air filtration to reduce exposure to indoor asthma triggers. A large activated granular carbon filter attacks common household odors including those caused by smoke, cooking and pets. And, it works to reduce the harmful VOC's that are emitted by common household products and cleaning chemicals. UV-C light technology kills germs including staph, influenza and rhinovirus. An ionizer option is built into the unit and can be turned on to boost allergen control. The ionizer emits negative ions that attract microscopic allergens to form larger particles that can be easily trapped by the True HEPA filter. The purifiers stands about 27" high and provides powerful air cleaning in rooms up to 378 sq. feet. Tested by independent labs, the CADR ratings are high with 244 (smoke); 310 (dust) and 346 (pollen). This air cleaner is ARB certified and complies with federal ozone emissions limit.
It is important to only use GENUINE Guardian Technologies™ replacement parts to maintain product performance and warranty. All parts that are not genuine will void the warranty.

Activated granular carbon filter reduces odors from pets, smoking, cooking along with harmful VOC's emitted from a variety of household products and chemicals.
UV-C light technology works with Titanium Dioxide to kill airborne bacteria, viruses, germs and mold spores.
Hi-performance design is excellent for any room size up to 378 sq. feet and independent lab tests record high CADR ratings of 244 (smoke), 310 (dust) and 346 (pollen).
Ionizer option can be turned on/off. When on, it helps boost allergen control by attracting microscopic particles from the air which are then captured by the True HEPA filter.
3 options for fan speed including an ultra quiet mode for light sleepers.
Do I need to replace my filter? Yes. It is recommended that you change the Combination Filter every 6 to 8 months depending on use.
How long is the warranty? The warranty is a 3-year Limited Warranty. For more detailed warranty information please refer to the warranty section of your instruction manual.
What is CADR? CADR stands for “Clean Air Delivery Rate” which indicates the volume of filtered air delivered by an air purifier. CADR ratings show the effectiveness of how efficient the air purifier is at capturing fine particles from things like tobacco smoke and plant pollens from the room.
How do I know when I should replace the filter? It is recommended that you replace the Combination Filter every 6 months — depending on use — to maintain an optimal level of air purification. When the filter turns from white to dark grey or black, it should be replaced with a new one. If the filter is still white, it does not need to be replaced.
What is UV-C light? UV-C is part of the ultra-violet light spectrum that is filtered out by the earth’s atmosphere. The “C” stands for the particular frequency of UV light that kills germs.
Why is UV-C light so effective? UV-C light is highly effective at penetrating thin-walled germs like viruses and bacteria. The light alters the genetic structure of the germ, and they die.
