Product Information

The PureGuardian® Air Cleaner XL tower is designed to help improve the quality of air in your home by reducing allergens and odors. The tower design is ideal for larger rooms such as living rooms and kitchens. The allergen filter captures airborne particles, such as dust mites, pollens, smoke and pet dander; while the carbon layer helps fight odors and capture large dust particles, extending the life of the filter. The 28 inch tower also offers electronic controls with a selection 3 fan speeds and ideal to use in a room up to 225 sq. feet. There is an up to 8 hour timer that can be programmed to automatically shut-off and a light that reminds you that it's time to change the filter. Uses GermGuardian HEPA replacement filter # FLT5000 or Black+Decker allergen replacement filter # BXFLTZ.

    Yes. It is recommended that you change the High Performance Allergen Filter every 6-9 months depending on use to maintain an optimal level of air purification in your home.

    Where should I use the product?

    This product is recommended for indoor use only. Most people like to put the unit in rooms of their house where they spend the most amount of time such as the living room, bedroom and kitchen areas. It's great to have with you at work too.
